Jason Koffeman is a director and multi-hyphenate filmmaker whose career has seen the industry from nearly every angle.

Most recently, Jason oversaw the visual creative for Jared Leto’s, Thirty Seconds to Mars’ album cycle – AMERICA. A concept album, Jason kept sight of the album’s visual cohesion, working day-to-day with Leto and Interscope Records on live television performances, music videos and documentaries, and album artwork in various capacities.

Prior to his work with Leto, Jason co-founded cinematic virtual reality company, Moth + Flame, where he served as its Head of Content. Pushing the boundaries of cinema’s possibilities, Moth + Flame became a go-to for brands looking for first-of-a-kind experiences to enhance customer connection and cut through the noise. Jason has directed and/or produced virtual reality titles across music, branded, and original. Clients include, MTV, Oculus, Discovery, AT&T, Google, Ram Trucks, and more. Among other accolades, Jason and the Moth + Flame team were shortlisted for a Cannes Innovation Lion in 2017 for their piece, “Fall in Love.”

None of his success in any medium would have been possible without a strong foundation in storytelling, forged by more than a decade in feature film.

Jason worked with Practical Pictures on three films in the FINAL DESTINATION franchise, helping to develop 3D cinema techniques with James Cameron’s Cameron-Pace Group for the fourth film, and serving as Associate Producer on FINAL DESTINATION 5.
